PANGS NI started in 2014 when a Belfast mum, struggling with postnatal anxiety, decided to start a Facebook support group to find others in the same situation. From there, PANGS NI has grown to include the website (www.pangsni.org) and a Facebook blog, both of which act to signpost families to where they can get help, support themselves and others and to share their stories to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness.
In order to keep our website running, and to produce some leaflets and support cards that we can give to families in need, we need your help! We are trying to raise £500 and any contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference to families dealing with a perinatal mental illness.
